Press and hold the Power button until ‘Loading startup options’ appears
Release the Power button. You will see options like ‘Options’ (macOS Recovery) and other bootable volumes
Force Restart: Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until screen goes black, then release and press again to restart
MacBook (Intel-based)
Force Restart: Press and hold the Power button until your Mac turns off, then press it again to restart
macOS Recovery: Restart and immediately press and hold Command (⌘) + R until you see the Apple logo or a spinning globe
Startup Manager: Restart and immediately press and hold the Option (⌥) key to choose a startup disk
SMC Reset: Shut down, press Shift + Control + Option on left side and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds, release all, then power on
